Wow, this brings back memories. I grew up in the mountains in Southern California and behind where we lived there were a dozen or more of these abandoned from an old Boy Scout camp. Never actually cooked on them but some of them still had grates over the fire area.
VW vans are the theme of today, I think. On the way to work this morning I saw one on the road from a local car repair shop that was perfectly restored and looked like it ran great.
Then I saw one in the driveway of another repair shop still hooked up to a tow truck.
Now this.
Stacy has always wanted one to tool around in. Maybe it’s a sign.
