1983’s EP from Weber & The Buzztones featured “Runaway”. A tight Cars-like “new wave” rythm, when wave was not yet in. A release that smacked of talent having fun. Later Ken Riley moved on to another favorite band rife with talent “Common Bond”.

No way! I though I was the only one that had ever heard of Weber and the Buzztones. They played at our camp so I’ve got an autographed cassette.

Great picture from great slide show on the credit crisis


This is a good slideshow. I think slides #12 and 13 are the best explanation of what’s happening now. It goes a little fast so do the one slide at a time thing instead of the play button. And there’s lots of detail so go full screen.
